Jesus Said...Ministries is an evangelistic, non-profit (with 501c3 status), all volunteer Christian outreach street ministry that has been ministering downtown since 1996.  Our ministry helps to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless and less fortunate men, women and children in the Downtown Akron, Ohio Community.

The volunteers of Jesus Said...Ministries meet every Saturday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.  We minister at one of three locations to 200 plus people and give away FREE food, FREE clothes and the FREE gospel - all in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!!  All food and clothes are donated by people within our community.

On Saturday mornings during May through September, volunteers  meet at Cascade Plaza located at the base of the First Merit Tower in downtown Akron.  We minister outside, rain or shine, plus provide food, clothing and the gospel to all who are in need.

During the months of October through April, Jesus Said...Ministries moves inside.  We minister from the fellowship halls at the High Street Christian Church or the Zion Lutheran Church, which are located off of High Street downtown.  Though ministering in the streets is our favorite place to minister both of these churches have blessed us with their facilities and being there allows those being ministered to relief from the outside elements.

At all three locations we start serving food at 9:15 am every Saturday, as the praise and worship begins.  God's Word is always given around 9:45 am, with an invitation included to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.  We use people that volunteer with Jesus Said...Ministries and have a calling to preach the word, to give the word every Saturday morning.  A preaching schedule can be viewed by clicking the link "Preaching Schedule" on the left side of this web page.

What a joyful time in the Lord for everyone!

All help is on a volunteer basis and is interdenominational.  Some bring crock-pots of food, which is always needed, others come to help serve or pray with those who come.  If you or your Church group would like to know more about this street ministry, please contact us for more information.  We look forward to hearing from you!
